No Snow!

Ok. It's January 24, 2007 and there is no snow.. It's +11 degrees outside! I'm a big fan of nice weather, don't get me wrong, but I think this is an effect of global warming. We haven't had cold weather in Calgary since November. Well not usual -30 cold anyway. Maybe it's just a mild winter... but after seeing 'An Inconvenient Truth' I highly doubt it. I've become so conscious of places that recycle, and to my surprise there is still alot of places that don't! Apparently, I've been told that the airport in Toronto doesn't recycle! What a waste. With the number of aircraft that go into that airport! Not only that, but they have the highest fees in North America! Nice to know they put it to good use.
On a postive note though, I think we can all contribute to a better environment. I am going to try my best, and do some more research. Maybe ask some questions and get the ball rolling.
